iGranite for the iPad great app

Friday, February 17th, 2012

This post brought to you by Granite Transformations. All opinions are 100% mine.

We wanted to let you know about iGranite. If you had not heard iGranite is an interior design app for the iPad app developed by Granite Transformations. This is the first free app that allows users to envision what the final result of a remodel would look like. The iPad has unleashed the potential of many great software packages. This app is out standing as it allows the user upload photo or photos of the space they want to remodel. This can be anything from a kitchen, living room or even a bathroom. Then the magic begins as this app allows the user to superimpose designs and patterns over the image to get an idea of what it would look like at the end. Now instead of hold a tiny swatch or red and trying to imagine a room red you can do it. The uses for this are endless and it can be a great trial and error device because there can be nothing worse than buying a bunch of things to remodel a room and realizing you do not like the way it looks after all. This could be anything from color off or a clash with current items in the room iGranite can save you from all these headaches. This way you can get the exact color match you are looking for. You can also get the app to just dream about what you would like to do and run through millions of possibilities.

President Obama cash grab on the left coast

Friday, February 17th, 2012

The money that pours into President Barack Obama is about to open the spicket again. The president is taking to the road for a three-day West Coast trip that is expected to haul in millions of dollars for his re-election bid. This starts with the posh home of a Hollywood soap opera producer Bradley Bell, the executive producer of The Bold and the Beautiful, where 1,000 people paid hundreds of dollars apiece to support Obama and listen to the rock band the Foo Fighters expected at the event are Jack Black and Rashida Jones. The president also was attending a dinner at Bell’s Holmby Hills home, co-hosted by actor Will Ferrell, with 80 supporters paying $35,800 each. The California trip is expected to collect millions from six events in LA and San Francisco over two days. He was wrapping up the week with two fundraisers in the Seattle area. The president raised more than $220 million for his campaign and the Democratic National Committee in 2011. President Obama is on his first fundraising trip outside Washington since his campaign announced it would encourage supporters to donate to a Democratic super PAC. We all remember when he said during his campaign he wanted outside influence out of politics and no name contributors was not only never be used but stopped during his administration.
