President Obama will never learn but this time he was out of town on vacation and sneaky folks over at ABC This week brought in crazy Joe. There was nothing he said that will make other countries, American citizens, or even the President upset. It looks like he stayed on the talking points. We thought he was going to make some bold predictions but he said only do not count Democrats out. When he was baited into the discussion of General Stanley McChrystal’s mocking comment about him as a personal attack, he stayed on message that it was more about policy disagreements over Afghanistan. Next up the Tea Party we though for sure this was a foot in mouth moment. Vice President Joe Biden danced around saying the tea party movement is conservative and is not a racist organization. He was more subdued over a more cautious approach to next July planned military U.S. troop drawdown in Afghanistan. He once said the drawdown would be a lot of people moving out. Today he said the number of U.S. troops leaving Afghanistan could be as few as a couple of thousand. He did say in Iraq U.S. the goals of ending the combat mission in August and reducing the number of troops to 50,000 is still on track. We thought there was going to be such fun but Crazy Joe stayed home and they obviously sent a programmed robot as this was not the crazy foot in the mouth Vice President Joe Biden we are used to hearing.
