Democrats hope for short memory

Thursday, April 8th, 2010

We were reading today that Democratic representatives that voted for healthcare reform even though every poll shows American were against it and used every trick in the book to pass it, are trying not to own up to it. We have heard them on the talking head circuit for a couple weeks people like Representative Betsy Markey telling that once people learn what’s in President Barack Obama’s new health care overhaul law, they’ll support it. When she went back home healthcare was off the table during campaign stops during the Congress two-week Easter break. Nevada, first-term Democratic Representative Dina Titus is trying to defend her vote for the health care bill but us facing a vigorous GOP challenge from a Republican physician. The proof they are embarrassed and strong-armed by Pelosi is both Markey and Titus voted for the health care overhaul but have not made an in-person appearance before a large crowd on the topic since it was signed into law. The same dilemma faces Representative Harry Mitchell, or Arizona, as challenger Republican David Schweikert plans not to let the democrat hide and move on to another issue. You know it is bad when they could not sell it to themselves, they needed every partisan vote, they only voted for it late at night, on holidays, and on weekends. Then they want to act as if they had nothing to do with it. This shame will haunt these members of congress like a scarlet letter for rest of their terms.
