There have been two more states added to the roster of states that are not happy with a federal law that mandates their state to have Healthcare. The governors of Arizona and Nevada say their states will join fourteen others suing the federal government over health care reform. The announcement came from Governor Jan Brewer announced Arizona was joining the suit claiming the bill signed April one that gave the authority to go around the state’s Democratic attorney general, Terry Goddard, who had originally declined to sue on the state’s behalf. Everyone knows the bill signed by President Obama is unconstitutional in part because it requires people to buy private health insurance. We also know in reality this is a fight that is all uphill and winning a suit would be unlikely. The other Governor that stepped up was Jim Gibbons who signed an executive order for Nevada to join the multistate challenge to the federal legislation. He faced the same struggle with an Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto, a Democrat, who refused an earlier directive from Gibbons to join the suit.
