VP Dick Chaney out and about, but why?

The question needs to be asked, is Dick Cheney relevant? We wonder this on a Sunday when the AP wire is filled with stories and comments from the Vice President. Vice President Dick Chaney was tapped to go on a nation wide search for a Vice President for President Bush. After an exhaustive search the best man for the job is him. Since has left office which is clearly kicking and screaming he has tried to comment on every issue. He has been vocal and the press is eating it up. Today you can see his comments on Biden and Cheney spar over antiterrorism policies, Cheney says he opposed Bush officials on policies, Cheney cites Bush disagreements on terror suspects, Cheney: Biden should give credit for Iraq to Bush, and finally Cheney mum on supporting Palin in next election. To think that a Vice President over a year removed can still garner this kind of attention seems unprecedented. There it five stories that top the AP over comments from former Vice President Dick Cheney. When you see al this hype or hyperbole you have to ask yourself is there and end game here. Is Dick Chaney delusional enough to think he can run fro president? Maybe he wants to spend the rest of his days as a 1980’s Henry Kissinger? Whatever the reason he is hear loud and proud and refuses to go away quietly. This is in sharp contrast to his former boss President Bush who has not a word about policy since he has left office.
