The hunt for a good auto boy shop continues. There have been many suggestions from friends like auto body irvine or the big retail shop. Then the insurance company is another story, they have given us an amount to fix the damage, we can use genuine parts but only if the cost of the parts and labor are less than that amount. Well that is not true if we want to pay the overage we can do that out of pocket. Why would we want to do that as what is the point in paying for insurance? It is bad enough to keep the policy down we have a $1000 deductible. There are so many auto body shops in the yellow pages for our area. The problem is they need to see the car to do the estimate and each time it is another day wasted until you make a choice. It is very important to check for a reputable shop as there are a lot of fly by night operations and you need to find someone you can trust. You want to find a collision repair shop that adheres to stringent quality and service guidelines. Hopefully we can find a place where customer experiences and testimonials from each collision repair shop can be found. It really never ends and this auto body shopping has become a full time job.
