waterboarding back in fashion

There was a great Rasmussen poll over the weekend. Do you remember when the New York Times got their panties in a bunch over the torture happening to the prisoners of war? Do you remember when Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi when practicality bananas over the waterboarding of three captured terrorists? The poll released over the weekend said that fifty-eight percent (58%) of U.S. voters say waterboarding and other aggressive interrogation techniques should be used to gain information from the terrorist who attempted to bomb an airliner on Christmas Day. The national telephone survey also found that just 30% oppose the use of such techniques, and another 12% are not sure. Using the healthcare analogy then if only 30%of Americans want something congress should ram it through in the middle of the night before a holiday. If they cannot get all the support they need then just give special deals to those who will not follow along. The survey also found that Seventy-one percent (71%) of all voters think the attempt by the Nigerian Muslim to blow up the airliner as it landed in Detroit should be investigated by military authorities as a terrorist act. Only 22% say it should be handled by civilian authorities as a criminal act, as is currently the case. Eric Holder are you listening? Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano are you listening as well? This does not go well with administration fear of using the word terrorist and admit that radical Islam is never going to get along with the west. We are sure public opinion will not get in the way of the administration doing what it thinks is best. It is clear the only needed the public on election day and ever since they know what is best for us.
