President Obama on another wasted trip

Stop me if you heard this before another International trip by President Barack Obama another trip where he comes home with nothing. The time it was in BEIJING where President Barack Obama and Chinese President Hu Jintao promised a determined, joint effort to tackle climate change, nuclear disarmament and other global issues. This first summit between the two had no solid agreements and only vague goodwill. The deal reached on climate was the United States and China is looking for a comprehensive deal during next month’s climate change summit. The battles facing both nations as US protectionism and the Chinese keeping currency relatively weak and human rights are point of friction. The liberal lame stream media will call the setting of a deadline of early next year for resuming an on-again, off-again dialogue on human rights, as a big coup for the President. The other minor agreements almost too small to mention where agreeing to reciprocal visits by the heads of their space programs and military leaders visit clam distrust over a Chinese military buildup and suspected US reconnaissance missions in the seas off China. The bigger issues like Afghanistan and Pakistan, there were no budge or help for President Obama. We will admit that because the US is in debt to China it is a tougher on the new President to hold the fire to the Chinese on anything. This of course is the bigger problem as if we cannot get our house in order we should not be telling you how to run yours.
