Senate Race In Massachusetts
Since there is a race for senator going on in Massachusetts which could be an important seat based on the filibuster proof senate. The primary to fill the late Senator Edward Kennedy seat will have a primary on December 8, 2009. The leader is Democrat District Attorney Martha Coakley she was the first one to pull papers to run and did not care if Joe Kennedy was in or out. This is the first time a woman has had a shot at a senate seat in Massachusetts, well…since forever. She jumped out to an early lead has held on and pretty much ran into a bunker. She has not participated in any debates. This is not the case for Michael Capuano who during a debate after 45 minutes he was getting peppered about his stand on healthcare, the wars, and economy closed his binder, grabbed his name tag and left the debate. You cannot put on a television without Celtic Part owner Steve Pagliuca face appearing. He has drowned the market and over exposed himself to nauseam. On the republican side Scott Brown is running against Jack E Robinson. Robinson ran against Kennedy on more than on occasion but is trailing Brown. Scott Brown is the father of an American Idol finalist and local politician. This could be an election that is run without a word as there is not much going on in either party and run off is during the holiday rush. The general election for the new seat is Jan. 19, 2010.
