Senate laughing at HR3962

It did not take long for the Democratic moderates to jump out against the House passed legislation. It appears that even as everyone cheered for John Dingell and Louise Slaughter called the bill “our finest hour” as well as President Barack Obama calling it the House answering the call of history, looks like it is DOA at the Senate. Speaking of Dingell because he watched the gavel over the debate for Medicare, you know the program that they gutted 400 billion dollars out of that is coming from only fraud and abuse in that great program. The detractors in the senate include Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman, who drew a line in the sand and claimed this will never come to a vote. The GOP is filibuster ready as The House bill is dead on arrival in the Senate,” claims Republican Senator Sen. Lindsey Graham. Even Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, could not even schedule floor debate and hinted they may not be able to finish health care this year. There are people like Republican Senator Olympia Snowe of Maine and Senator Mary Landrieu are for the private market reform, which then could lead to a public option but both are against a public option from day one. This is all going not going to take happen effect until 2013. Does anyone else find it funny that the President at that point is either heading to lame duck status or out of work peddling his hope and change message to the United Nations crowd.
