NannySoft, parental monitoring software
We wanted let you know about a cool piece of software from NannySoft. This is a new parental monitoring software packages. This product is a home run for what we were looking for; we have two small children each with their own desktop. They love going to NickJr and Disney. The problem is they also know how to type words into the address bar. They do this to find videos on YouTube of High School Musical or Hannah Montanta. The network setup in the house has a DMZ for their computers and as we try to lock it down it becomes impossible. The fifteen year old is on the same switch with a host of other issues. NannySoft can taker all of these headaches away we are in a free ten day trial but we have already in the first six hours seen the power of this software. This was the answer we have been looking for allowing the Internet but not being afraid of where they will go. For the fifteen year old it can monitor the activity on her laptop and create a record of everything she does that can be accessed later. For the little guys we used the NannySoft feature of configurable white and black lists so we know what sites they are going to and blocking pretty much everything else. The functionality of this software is full of every bell and whistle you want including email alerts and even desktop video so you could see exactly what is going on.
