Happy Cinco de Mayo

Today is the fifth of May which in Mexico means it is Cinco de Mayo. The holiday commemorates the Mexican Army defeat of the French at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. This was the beginning of the end for France as a military power and as we seen in since they have no will to fight and have been needed saving from the US twice since. This is not our favorite day in May as of course we celebrate Doce de Mayo, which of course is May 12, or 512 as in Tea512. Cinco de Mayo is a great US non-holiday filled with Margaritas, Tortillas, and Tacos. There is nothing wrong with any of that so take a minute and enjoy your Cinco de Mayo. We suppose the festivities will be rather light in Mexico as they are just coming out of lock down from the Swine Flu outbreak. So we want everyone to enjoy the day and remember that today we all can be Mexican, we all can celebrate and fell good about the little Mexico took down the French.
