Time and Attendance software
We needed to research some Time & Attendance software for one of our vendors. We came across a company called SoftwareTech.com They have three intuitive time and attendance software programs that caught our attention, SoftTime, TimeKron, and HR. Each of these products is available as a free download to test drive. There is a wealth of information on the site about how to use it, pricing, key features, screen shots and videos. They can help you every step of the way as they have a live chat function. The technical data is easy to find as the layout design of the web interface is outstanding. You can even register from a free live presentation of the product. There is a blog to read, and a newsletter you can sign up to receive. We tested TimeKron Time Management as it appeared to cover our vendors needs perfectly. It was simple to register for the product as they send an email with a product key and link, which arrived before we could open our mail client. The demo was a little over 19mb but the download was fast. The installation went like a breeze and we were up and running inside the program extremely fast. The best part of this program is you can put actual photos of the employees in their data, not a big need, but a cool option. You can view your information as monthly calendar and track what day coverage will be needed. You can email information from the report menu, so HR can email a manager the attendance and vacation schedule for each employee. We found the interface easy to use and very slick. We highly recommend you try this software if you are a big or small business, the download is free and once you see the power of the program you will have to have it.
