Obama hubristic or just cocky

Monday, November 3rd, 2008

We thought we would throw this at you as it is getting closer to Election Day. It seems if you believe the lame stream media that Obama has it sewn up. If you look at Electoral College map things look pretty grim for the GOP. We thought we would just throw this out there as the DNC is now a party that is claiming change. They wanted change so bad, so radical, the moved the first black man to run for President. The thought we want you to take with you is, as you remember Obama won the states that are going to be red on Election Day. Clinton won New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, which the last has become a battle ground state along with Ohio and Florida. Most of the insiders say these three states will decide the next President. The point to ponder is was it a calculated mistake for Obama to be the candidate for 2008. Could you not have seen Clinton winning in 2008 & 2012 followed by Obama in 2016 and 2020. The GOP has been in power 16 of the last 24 years, is it such a stretch to think that a Clinton – Obama ticket could not have reigned for the next 16 years. Since the country is in the midst of a recession there is a chance if things do not pick up by quarter three 2009 the incoming President will start to be blamed for not getting the job done. We understand they will blame the last eight years but rolling into 2012 if they country feels it has been more of the same or worse, then there is a good chance it will 1976 all over again. Were Carter was a one term President that could not kick start the economy in four years and was tossed to the curb. The elected President was in the midst of an energy crisis facing double digit inflation does this sound familiar? He said on inauguration day “We have learned that more is not necessarily better, that even our great nation has its recognized limits’ Good Luck Obama history and the cards seem to be dealt against you.

When I look into your eyes
I can see a love restrained
But darling when I hold you
Don’t you know I feel the same

This week we highlight as the Women of the Week, Shannon Elizabeth Fadal who was born in Houston, Texas on September 7, 1973. We know her by her shortened name Shannon Elizabeth. She grew up in Waco, Texas where she aspired to have a professional tennis career. She is both an actress and fashion model. Hr first professional jobs were as a model. She first came to be noticed with her role as the Russian foreign exchange student in the 1999 movie American Pie. She had a role in the movie Jack Frost before the American Pies movies as she was in both the first and second. She has also been on the silver screen in Scary Movie, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Love Actually, Tomcats, Cursed, The Grand, and Deal. She appeared as the likeness and voice in the video game for James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing. She has also done some minor work on scripted television shows. She recently has done two reality shows Dancing with Stars in which she finished seventh, and NBC National Heads Up Poker Championship to which she finished third. We have loved watching the long legged brunette from her days in Pie to her high stakes poker playing. There can be nothing hotter then a girl who can get naked for Playboy and in movies, dance in a ballroom, and throw down on the river playing poker. Shannon Elizabeth may not be huge star but she will always have a corner on the Tea512.
