Back to Business – As usual

Both the United States House of Representatives and Senate will be back to work on Monday if you can call it work. Since this Congress has accomplished the least amount of things in thirty years. This is the lowest approval rating for a congress in the long time as well. We are sure that after the last two weeks of conventions the next three week session will be all about how great their candidate will change Washington. The biggest issues on the table are the economy and energy. The only legislation you can pretty much bank on passing is the one to keep the country running until after the election. Bigger issues on the table that will probably be ignored are off shore drilling, funding for the war through October 2009, and economic aid for unemployment.  So let ratchet up the oratory on each side lets talk a big game about what our guy will do. In the end this the 100th congress will fall flat and is about to leave a legacy as the worst in the history. The first female leader proved that it was more important to be on the meet the press then accomplish anything.
